Hello
and welcome to the North Wales North West Division page of the
Merseyside Amalgamated Branch website.
The NW/NW Division of the CWU covers an area approximately
from Aberystwyth taking in the whole of North Wales, Mid Wales
across to Shrewsbury and the surrounding area, parts of Derbyshire,
Cheshire and then right up to Carlisle, covering all areas west
of the Pennines.
There
are three Divisional Reps ( Dave Roebuck, Ian Taylor, and myself)
and we constitute the Industrial Relations tier between your Area
Reps and CWU HQ. Divisional Reps are also the final stage in the
disagreement process of the Industrial Relations Framework.
It is my intention to use this page to report
on the wider issues affecting the membership within the Division
and to build a resource of advice for both members and reps.
